Inspiration Board: Sesame Street Birthday
November 10th, 2009 by Carrie Sellman | 1 Comment

Today Sesame Street celebrates 40 years of Big Bird and the gang. This educational and inspirational show has touched us all. What little one doesn’t want to live on Sesame Street at some point? And what better way to celebrate 40 fun years then with a Sesame Street birthday party. Elmo is always a popular request when it comes to birthday cake designs but today I tried to include the whole crew. So here’s to sunny days….

  • Spice things up with polka dot plates and sky blue plastic cutlery.

Have you thrown a Sesame Street party of your own?  Tell us about it!

I figured it was about time to post a board that would be appropriate for either a little girl’s or a little boy’s birthday. So today’s theme is the circus because really… what little one doesn’t love the circus! Here is a fun and modern way to bring all of the excitement of the big top to your party.

There are so many fun things you could do with a circus theme, way too many to show here! You could have clowns, magic tricks, carnival games, old school popcorn machines and vintage popcorn bags and of course, balloon animals! If you have more ideas that would be fun for this theme, please share them here!
