I may be dating myself, but when I was a teenager, Crate and Barrel was one of the coolest and only places to go to get houseware stuff. I used to walk through the store and just dream of buying cool wine glasses and stuff for my future apartment. It is still a cool place to shop! To me, the best thing about the holidays is all the beautiful decorations. A chance to transform your home into a winter wonderland and spread some of the Holiday cheer around for all those that come into your home. So, I would get the beautiful sweater vases and some gorgeous hurricane vases to fill with ornaments or lights.

I have never been in a Crate & Barrel store but I visit the website weekly. I am just always blown away by the products. Home design is a passion of mine. I feel like our home is the place that my family will create the majority of our memories together. I have a 16 month old daughter and this will be her second Christmas. Any mom out there knows how exhausting the toddler years are. I have a list for everything and an alarm set reminding me to eat! I would not trade my daughter for anything in the world, but I would love some extra energy! I have been wanting a coffee maker for a long time, but I have yet to find the perfect one. My ideal beverage of choice is an iced coconut latte, but with my fiance in nursing school full time and working as a private security officer, I have yet to find a coffee maker I love that will provide us both with the coffee we want. Basically, he wants a strong cup of coffee, and I want a lighter, iced latte. I would use this $150 Crate & Barrel gift card to help me purchase the Delonghi Combi Coffee and Espresso maker! I cannot even begin to describe how excited and thankful I would be to win this gift card and purchase an espresso maker that will also make my fiance happy. I know that with a quality product like this, I could entertain family and guests. I am now a facebook fan of Half Baked.
