Guest Post: Halloween Party Favors

Well… Hello Half Baked readers!  This is Lindsey from over at Bella Grace Party Designs.  I was so extremely flattered when Carrie asked me to create a guest post for her truly extraordinary and inspirational blog.   Bella Grace Party Designs Blog is primarily designed to find inspiration and creativity.  So I am super excited to share a few of my fun ideas on one of the blogs where I get MY daily fix of inspiration.

Halloween is right around the corner and happens to fall smack in the middle of my favorite time of year.  If you read my blog you know that I am completely obsessed with details.  One of my favorite details about Halloween and throwing a spooktacular Halloween party is the creativity that goes behind the PARTY FAVOR !!!  After all- that’s what the kiddos are looking for in a great Halloween party… The Sweets and Treats!

I got together with a few of my favorite party vendors to come up with some fantastic party favor ideas. Some ideas are DIY and others include amazingly talented vendors that can help create the perfect favor that will WOW the kiddos.

Jessica of Pen N’ Paper Flowers and I put our heads together to come up with some simple but fun favor tags that can be used in SO many ways.

Halloween Favor Tags

Ok, Let’s start with Candied or Caramel Apples. Fancy them up yourself with some festive Halloween sugars and ribbons or leave it to the talent of Mrs. Prindable’s Homemade Confections.  {IMPRESSIVE}

Halloween Candy Apples

Caramel Corn, Kettle Corn and Popcorn… Always a crowd pleaser! One of my favorite details to add to a sweets display is a popcorn box or snack cup to make it easy for guests to grab and go. Wrap up your corn in a clear favor bag and dress it with festive ribbon and check out Paper and Pigtails. They have a variety of Snack Cups that you can customize to match your party color scheme.

Decorated Halloween cookies… {Yum} {Yum} and {Yum!}

Halloween Cookies

Creating decorated sugar cookies is a fun kid friendly project- but for me, I leave it to the talent of artists like Lori’s Place Gourmet Delights. Her attention to detail on these cookies is phenomenal! Looks amazing, tastes amazing, and are so adorable wrapped up in a cello bags with coordinating curling ribbon.

{CANDY} {CANDY} {CANDY} Face it… this is what the kids WANT! It doesn’t get any more perfect than a Sour Gummy, Lollipop topped Candy Kabob from Sweets Indeed.
