Welcome to Our Newest Top Tier Vendor
February 16th, 2010 by Carrie Sellman | 11 Comments

Half Baked is excited to announce the newest addition to our Top Tier Directory…  Intricate Icings Cake Design!  We are very excited about this charming little cake shop in Erie, Colorado and know you will be too.

Rachael Teufel, the cake artist and owner of Intricate Icings, creates cakes that are “artwork for your taste buds”.  Rachael’s shop is not about cranking out oodles of cookie cutter cakes.  Each cake is baked fresh, no more than two days before the event.  Having run a shop of my own, that in itself is quite impressive.  Then throw in creative flavors like Zucchini Lime Pound Cake with Cream Cheese filing topped with a stunningly modern design. What you have is one fabulous cake!  No wonder Intricate Icings has quickly become a local favorite.  See for yourself…
Welcome Intricate Icings

I could not be more thrilled to have Intricate Icings as part of our Top Tier Directory!  Show them a little love and check out their full listing in Top Tier.  See even more of their elegant designs on the Intricate Icings website and blog.  Special thanks to Rachael for joining us. We can’t wait to feature more of your spectacular work!

    These cakes are beautiful!

Your cakes are amazing! From cake artist to cake artist, how did you pipe the last cake? did you do it free hand?
And if so that is very impressive how did you practice a skill like that?

The last cake is a stencil Courtney.

Thanks for all of the support! I love my job!
