Well, you might be wondering why there’s been a dry spell recently on Half Baked.  And in an effort to spare you the details, let’s just say I was on one of life’s little detours.  Not the typical side street detour, but more like an off-roading adventure on rocky terrain.  Boy am I thrilled to be back, chatting about cake again!  And speaking of off-roading and cakes…

I thought I’d share this amazing Jeep cake by The Cake Girls in Chicago.  These talented women are by far my favorite cake designers because their work is just impeccable.  They always manage to impress me with their flawless execution and attention to detail.  Just look at that windshield!  And I love how even their 3D cakes have clean lines.
