The Thanksgiving holiday seems to get shorter every year, as Black Friday mania pushes us into the Christmas shopping season. In an effort to give Thanksgiving its proper dues…
I’d like to take a moment to thank all of my loyal customers for their continued interest in my work, the many talented wedding professionals who inspire me daily, my family and friends for their love and support, and God for the amazing opportunities He has provided me.
One such talented wedding professional is San Francisco Bay Area floral designer, Nancy Liu Chin. Her exquisite work is modern, chic, elegant and always breathtaking. I’m ever so grateful that Nancy has shared a storyboard exclusively with us… feast your eyes on this!

This is a wedding we just did a month ago at the Ritz Carlton HMB. The colors were Kelly Green, Green Tea, Teak, Mung Beans, and White. The bride and groom are both avid travelers. They wanted a location that was picturesque. The room was done so that it didn’t look like a hotel ballroom. We draped the entire ballroom with a mocha bamboo soft fabric. The centerpieces were white with green accents. Those that were short sat on a riser made from horsetail and were filled with black river rocks. The invitation by Peculiar Pair Press was very unique and their motif includes these lovely clover like floral patterns. The place cards were attached to bamboo skewers and we “staked” them into a custom made tray filled with Mung Beans. The ceremony gazebo was draped in a Green Tea hue fabric. There were lanterns in the Gazebo as well as clustered over the dancefloor. Not pictured was the dessert bar which included 12 concoctions that were inspired by the bride and created by Ritz Carlton’s pastry chef. All in all, one of the most enjoyable weddings.
